Here is more information on his views:
Aurelio Mattucci Candidate for Torrance City Council
Mission
Public safety and economic stability is among my priorities. I want the city to be fiscally responsible and do what it can to cut wasteful spending. I do believe in energy conservation and helping both home owners and businesses save money on utilities without imposing additional restrictions on them. I do believe we need to plant more trees in our residential neighborhoods and make our commercial areas more desirable to new business growth. We need to fill up our commercial vacancies by offering new businesses true incentives and help out our many existing and loyal small businesses succeed and not just survive. We need to be truly business friendly and not just say we are. We also need to streemline permits and plan check process to encourage new business. I do hope I can get your support and the support of your friends and family. I want to help maintain and promote family unity and the safety of all the families that live in this wonderful city.
Description
I am a candidate for Torrance City Council. Running for office has been a long time dream of mine. I have never been more motivated in achieving this endeavor. I feel that in order to truly make positive changes in our city one must make them as a whole, work together and get involved at all levels. These are challenging times for us, as a country and as a city, with the redevelopment funds gone, we are facing the same fate as many other municipalities , loss of businesses that directly translate to less revenue for our city, loss of local jobs and more of our families losing their homes. Less revenue for the city means the potential loss of many programs, services and activities that have shaped Torrance throughout the years. It's not a matter of Right or Left, it's a matter of Right or Wrong. I will do what is Right for the people of Torrance. I will listen to your concerns and suggestions. I will be truly a public servant, serving the people of Torrance and the many businesses that help support and maintain this wonderful city that I am proud to say is my home.

Torrance City Council Candidate Aurelio Mattucci wants to see a full size North Torrance Police Station. Crime in North Torrance needs to be chopped and stopped at the root. A study needs to be done on how much is it costing the tax payers to send police to North Torrance. I know we have a few sub-stations, but the cost of patrolling North Torrance is much higher since the majority of the police force is in Central Torrance and most of the crime is in other parts of Torrance. We must also educate our citizens and encourage crime prevention programs such as the Neighborhood Watch. As your future councilman I will make public safety a priority. If we can't feel safe in our own homes, we can't enjoy them. Torrance City Council must always look after the well being of the citizens at any cost. This is not about feeding Unions, it's about feeling and being safe in our neighborhoods. Find out more about what I believe in at http://www.voteformattucci.com

Who are the candidates for torrance city election? There are currently 9 people running for office for the 2014 election. 6 are running for Torrance City Council, 2 are running for Mayor, and 1 is running unopposed for City Clerk. This is because current city clerk Sue Herbers has announced she will no longer be interested in running again. Aurelio Mattucci is among the candidates running for Torrance City Council.

Torrance Election is just one year away and things are already starting to heat up. Torrance City Council candidate Aurelio Mattucci is keeping a cool head, his thought is that we can't all fight eachother, especially because three of us will need to work together down the line.

Torrance City Council is made up of six councilmembers. Aurelio Mattucci is seeking on of those seats. He is one of currently six candidates ready to throw their hats in the ring. Aurelio Mattucci wants to be more involved with his community and in his own words he said "What better way to be involved in your community than to be a public servant and sit as a council member"

Aurelio Mattucci, owner of Mattucci Real Estate and founder of the Mattucci Project is one of currently six candidates for Torrance City Council. Elections in Torrance are at large and there are no districts. Also, there is no run off election and this saves the tax payers of Torrance about $200,000 per election. Cities like Redondo Beach spend quite a bit on run off elections. They just had one for a handful of candidates.

Torrance politics have evolved over the years but are pretty much in line with the rest of the country. One might say that Torrance is relatively conservative but I must say that Torrance is much more diverse than one would think. I have been visiting hundreds of businesses in Torrance and I had the pleasure of meeting hundreds of business owners from all walks of life. My theory is that it's not about Right or Left, it's about Right or Wrong. I will always push to do what is Right for the well being of Torrance residents and businesses. We must work together in bringing a balance to our city and find a common ground where energy is better spent on real issues. I love Torrance, I just hope Torrance loves me.

Torrance City Council Candidate Aurelio Mattucci attends Torrance State of the City Event. Mayor Scotto once again gave a great speech. I was honored to be there both as a guest and an exibitor. As much as Torrance may be doing well, there is still a difficult road ahead and we need to be careful with spending. Budgets are only good if the revenue stays the same. Torrance is a beautiful city, let's stay on the right track.

Mattucci Real Estate has more and more homes for sale in San Pedro California. As they finish the final touches to their new San Pedro office, Aurelio Mattucci of Mattucci Real Estate announces the sharp increase of San Pedro homes for sale. He attributes the success to the higher number of active San Pedro agents in his company. "I am extremely proud of the hard work and results Mattucci agents are achieving here in San Pedro" Aurelio said.

Economic recovery may be around the corner, but how far is that corner. Jobs can only be created when small businesses see improvement in sales. High taxation will not help the cause. Business owners need tax incentives and lines of credit to give them working capital. Let's think about it. As an example, let's say that a small business owner is offered a tax incentive when buying new and more efficient equipment, but doesn't have the business credit or capital to do so. Now imagine a bank giving that same owner a line of credit for $100,000. The business owner buys new equipment, which will in turn, will feed the company that manufactures the product along with all their employees, then there is the trucking company, installers, and maintenance people. Now your business is able to produce more with this new equipment therefore you hire a salesperson which will bring new business, and this new business will have to be taken care of by your new employees. Now one could say we need more high paying jobs. So let's take the same example and add technician to the job description. In other words, jobs can't be created without stimulating our biggest and most important part of our economic structure, which is The Small Business Owner.
